Job Description
Assist Programme Manager to implement climate change programmes, including community-based and/or youth empowerment initiatives.
Develop and maintain partnership with international and/or local trust/foundation, institutions, business, NGOs, supporting organisations for effective programme operations.
Cultivate and sustain networks with programme participants to ensure ongoing engagement and impact.
Handle publicity including press releases, social media management, website updates, promotion materials and other communications, to raise awareness and support for CCIL's initiatives.
Collect data for impact analysis and reporting of the programmes.
Functional Details
Preferably 2 years’ relevant working experience in NGO, particularly in education, youth empowerment and community development. Social worker qualification is a plus. Candidates with less experience will be considered as the role of Programme Assistant.
Passionate about climate change and sustainable development issues, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities they present.
Experience in the implementation of international or local projects, with project management skill and the ability to deliver result in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of project stakeholders and the community at large.
Strong organisational abilities, multi-tasking skills and attention to details, with the capacity to work independently and under pressure.
A team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues and partners to achieve common goals.
Self-motivate, eager to explore, learn and share knowledge on related issues.
Experience in cross-sector engagement and/or organisation of community events is desirable.
Immediate availability preferred.
